When something's wrong

Tell us, and this is what happens, with the days attached.

Start here

Ring (513) 548-4296 or write to hello@buckeyeconcreteco.com with the property address, what went wrong and the outcome you want. Attach photos if you have them, and have the written price and any permit paperwork to hand.

What happens

WhenWhat
Within 2 business daysA named person acknowledges it, with a reference and the next step.
Within 10 business daysFor a problem with the work: an estimator visits and looks at it against the written price and the spec. For scheduling, billing or how you were treated: we go through the records with you.
Within 5 business days after thatA written answer: what we found, what we'll do, when. Where the work is short of the spec or the warranty, the warranty says what happens and we do it.
If you disagreeSay so, and someone not involved reviews it and replies in writing within 10 business days.

What's covered and what isn't

Workmanship against the written spec, the warranty terms, and the permit record. Not covered: damage from traffic or loads on new concrete before the periods we gave you, de-icer the first winter, changes to drainage after the job, and cosmetic differences in color between new and old concrete, which we tell you about beforehand.

Elsewhere

The Ohio Attorney General's Consumer Protection Section takes complaints about residential contractors at 1-800-282-0515. For work in the City of Cincinnati's right-of-way, the Department of Transportation and Engineering is the permitting authority. Each complaint is logged with its dates and outcome and reviewed so the same thing doesn't happen twice.
