The terms, in plain paragraphs

What using this site and asking for a price commits you to, and what it doesn't. Effective October 2026.

The website

Everything on this site is general information. The prices on the cost pages are published national ranges, quoted with their source and date, and none of them is a price for your job. A price for your job exists only in a written estimate after someone has measured it.

Asking for a price

Sending the form or calling asks us to ring you back and offer an estimate visit. It doesn't commit you to anything, and it doesn't commit us to take the job. The estimate visit is free.

The written price is the agreement

The written price names the work: area, thickness, base, reinforcement, mix, finish, joints, removal, the apron or sidewalk under its permit, the schedule, the payment terms and the warranty. Accepting it is the contract. This website doesn't change it and it doesn't change this website. For a job large enough that the Ohio Home Construction Service Suppliers Act applies, the contract carries what that Act requires, and the estimator explains how it applies.

Who does the work

Independent local crews carrying general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Work in the City of Cincinnati's right-of-way is done by a crew holding the Department of Transportation and Engineering's street-contractor licence under the City's permit. Ohio issues no state licence for concrete contractors and we claim none.

What we need from you

Access to the property on the scheduled days; a clear path for the truck or a warning that there isn't one; what you know about buried lines, septic systems, sprinklers and previous work; keeping people, pets and cars off new concrete for the periods we give you; and no de-icer the first winter. Damage from ignoring those last two isn't a warranty matter.

Changes and extras

If something turns up that the estimate couldn't see (an old slab under the old slab, rock, a buried tank), the work stops and you get a written change order with the price before it continues. Nothing is added to the bill without one.

If something goes wrong

Tell us; the complaints page says how and how fast we respond. The Ohio Attorney General's Consumer Protection Section (1-800-282-0515) takes complaints about residential contractors in Ohio.

The usual

The content of this site is ours; read it, print it, link to it, don't copy it onto another site. Ohio law governs these terms. If one paragraph turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still apply. Questions to hello@buckeyeconcreteco.com or (513) 548-4296.
